A recreate is Cisco’s term for an engineering test bed, which are used to help troubleshoot and isolate customer network and design problems. • Cisco TAC receives high marks from customers for quick, effective response and issue resolution.
• 1,030+ CCIE® professionals, broad expertise in Cisco technologies and products, ownership of complex issues, commitment to high quality customer experience — rapid issue resolution
• The staff is qualified to execute in several different critical areas:
1. Situation appraisal – where priority issues are resolved through action planning.
2. Problem analysis – where all problems are diagnosed consistently, regardless of the technology
3. Decision analysis – where good, solid, actionable decisions are made to address problems/issues
4. Potential problem analysis – where risks are avoided and mitigatedWe are looking to recruit Graduates keen to develop their career in networking, who are not afraid of change, and eager to grasp complex challenges. Graduates will be trained in-house and will work side by side with seasoned engineers.Responsibilities:
• Provide phone consultation to independently debug complex product and technology solution problems.
• Act as a technical expert and provide systems/product training on a world-wide basis.

• Typically interface with Customer Support Engineers, value added resellers, OEMs, end-users and internal engineering departments. Impact is major.

Requirements:
• MUST be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident

• Educational Background
• Requires a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent, in a technical field (IT/Computer Science/Electrical Engineering preferred)
• Have Graduated in the past two years

• Must have skills/experiences
• Demonstrate an aptitude and appetite for learning new technologies, evidenced by the ability to expand upon core knowledge.
• Crisis management skills.
• Ability to analyze, use and configure small to medium networks.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Self-motivation, have strong sense of responsibility & team work spirit.
• Have strong time management skills
• Be able to adapt to a fast-paced environment
• Have a desire to learn new and exciting things

• Other preferred skills/experiences
• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) desired.
• TCP/IP Knowledge will be a plus.
• Experience or certifications in one or more of the following would be a plus:
 Linux/UNIX knowledge/administration
 Windows Operating System environments
 Database knowledge/administration
 Virtualization technologies (VMware/Citrix)
 Programming in any language (C/Java/Python) or scripting experience
